By inserting the faces into the present urban sacred frames – about a hundred – each one
of them returns to own place (although this is not really the case originally). From the wall
they come and on the wall they return.
In addition, the initial sacred image is replaced by a profane constructed image from the
contingency. The divine and the case are so necessarily in close comparison: one takes the
place of the other, but it is not necessarily so (see images in transparency).
First images all belong to the world of the figurative, iconic are commonly recognized; the
others, on the other hand, come from the conceptual, from the abstract, take shape from the unexpected and are freely interpreted.
